What is the ISSS?

While preparing the education plan, activities for the basic sciences of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology were planned. In these activities, it is aimed that students to gain awareness by making experiments on current and popular topics. In addition, it is aimed to popularize basic sciences by showing the fun elements and attracting students’ attention to these fields. In addition, workshops related to robotics, industrial design, and coding were planned. In this context, it is aimed to create a general culture in students related to these fields and to enable students to discover the areas they are interested in.

The trainings will be held in groups of 15 people.

Planning was made considering that 30 students and 2 teachers would participate. The training will be given by experts in the field. An instructor and an assistant will take part in the training sessions.

Within the scope of the program, an event called “garden talks” was planned to be held in the school garden. In these activities, conversations about values education, history and civilization awareness will be held.

Professional guidance will be provided for historical site tours that will take place within the scope of the program.

Accommodation will take place in our school dormitory. If hotel accommodation is requested, alternatives can be created in line with requests.

2 university students will act as guides in all of the social activities that will take place in the program. The guides together with our instructors in charge of the program will accompany the guests throughout the entire program.

What is the Kartal Science Center?

The Kartal Science Center is a technology and innovation center that was decided to be built after many achievements in our school.

The Kartal Science Center is a well-equipped place that was established in order to provide the infrastructure that our students at our school need in their project studies, and to provide our students with the needs of the age even before they go to university.

In addition to serving our own students, The Kartal Science Center also provides the opportunity for domestic and foreign students to receive education in the field of science.

Physics Lab

Thanks to the training given in the laboratory, which provides experimental education in a wide range from classical physics to modern physics, students not only understand how systems in nature work, but also prepare for life as individuals who think, analyze and produce solutions. Trainings; While helping students to understand the mechanisms and mathematics behind the events happening around us, it contributes to the development of ideas and projects that can be solutions for the problems of humanity.

Chemistry Lab

Our students are prepared for life as qualified individuals in the field of chemistry, thanks to the trainings carried out in laboratories equipped with the equipment and infrastructure that allow all high school level chemistry experiments envisaged by the National and International diploma programs.

Biology Lab

The laboratory environment, which was prepared by considering all the infrastructure opportunities that experimental education needs, has an architectural design that can be used to create different classroom layouts when necessary. Students who get to know the microworld better with their laboratory training; live and nature-oriented projects are encouraged.

R&D Lab

Our students will be able to carry out their experimental studies and basic analyzes in the R&D laboratory, which provides opportunities for research and project studies in the fields of Chemistry, Biology and Physics with its devices and technical infrastructure. At the same time, in this laboratory, our students will be given advanced laboratory techniques, as well as specific workshops on nanotechnology and biotechnology. In this way, our students will have the opportunity to graduate by reaching the level of knowledge and equipment that a good researcher should have.

Technology Lab

Special architectural designs are included in this area, which will be used for the courses to be organized under the main headings of Software, Robotics and Industrial design. The area designed as a transformable classroom can be transformed into a workshop environment in a short time outside of the classroom. Students will be able to participate in the leveled courses, which will be organized under sub-titles such as C, C#, Java, Fortran, Robotic Coding with Arduino, Solidworks and Matlab, according to their interests.

Inovation Lab

This area, where three-dimensional printers, laser cutting device, electronic equipment and materials are offered to students; It has been prepared by considering the needs that may arise in all processes from the design phase to the testing phase of their projects, while allowing students to work collaboratively. The area prepared integrated with the technology workshop; It can be used together within the scope of special workshops when necessary, robotics etc. It has the opportunity to be customized by changing the in-class layout for studies.

Project Development Lab

Pro-Lab designed integrated with i-Lab and T-Lab; With its high-capacity computers, it allows students to work in design, software and simulation programs. It has been designed with an architectural approach that will enable students who are talented not only in industrial design, but also in artistic fields such as graphic design, painting, animation and film, to focus on their studies in the field that will be available.
